Certificate Sample

Program Framework：

Program Length：6 months to 1 year

Study Mode & Effort：4 modules 108 hours of online learning (live broadcast + recording) + 3 months of tutor support to complete graduation design + full learning group support

Courses Introduction:

This program comprises four (4) online courses, including a final capstone project. The first three courses focus on curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment. The fourth and final course includes a capstone project which can be completed either in-school or as an applied project, with the support of a subject-specific mentor.

4 Compulsory Courses:

• Curriculum Process（30 hours）

Understand the overall IB curriculum framework, understand IB terminology and learning strategies, distinguish the differences between IBDP and other high school courses, design and implement IB program for your school.

• Approaches to Teaching and Learning（30 hours）
  

As to design and organize classroom teaching more effectively, you need to understand the theories related to learning science, effective learning strategies, and different learning styles. On this basis, deepen your understanding of IB learner profiles and differentiated teaching management methods.

• Assessment and Learning（30 hours）

Explore using different assessment tasks and assessment tools, design differentiated assessment forms to provide students and parents with effective feedback and support for learning achievements.

• Professional Learning & Capstone Project （18 hours+3 months to complete the Capstone Project with the support of a Mentor）

Understand the meaning and effective way of reflective teaching, conduct cooperative teaching and research with senior IB instructors, be familiar with IB Online Course Resource Center (My IB), and carry out teaching innovation and graduation design in combination with your chosen professional fields.

Enrollment Requirements：

1. Teaching Degree or Teaching Experience

   - Successful completion of a recognized teaching qualification from any jurisdiction in the world

   OR

   - Minimum 1 full year of teaching experience in a public or private secondary school. This MUST be confirmed by a letter(s) from the learner's employer(s)

   
   

2. If the language of instruction for the Bachelor's degree (or Master's degree) was not English, the learner must provide a proof among the following English Proficiency TEST:

   -  IELTS test with a minimum score of 6 in all components or a B2 on a CEFR test

   -  DuoLingo Test with a score of 100

   -  LanguageCert International ESOL SELT B2.
