It is with deepest regret that we must announce that the Fernweh • German Ball Beijing has been postponed to March 26, 2022 in keeping with local regulations regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and large social gatherings.

As we prepared for this year’s German Ball, we were excited about the public response, including both event partnerships and ticket sales. However, even though we’ve made every effort to execute this event, due to recent epidemiological developments in Beijing, we had to make the difficult decision to postpone it.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and look forward to greeting you, and your friends, next year in March.

Refund Policy

1. We are issuing full refunds and only guests who completed the payment for tickets will receive a refund. The refunds will be processed during the period of November 10 to December 3. If you have not received the refunds until December 3, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

2. You will receive a refund the way you paid for your tickets. If you paid for your tickets via WeChat, you will receive the refunds through WeChat; if you paid for your tickets via bank transfer, you will receive the refunds through bank transfer. Please consult the respective ways to check on the status of your refunds.

Reservation & Cancellation Policy:

• Events have limited seating, so to ensure your attendance we encourage you to register in advance. We cannot guarantee entry to those that have not pre-registered. If you registered for an event but cannot attend, please do let us know in advance. No-shows who fail to cancel before November 1st will be charged with the full price.

• If unforeseen changes in pandemic prevention policy occur, resulting in limited number of guests allowed at the event venue, event partner tables and group bookings will be prioritized. Remaining tables/seats will be allocated by drawing lots.

• All cancelled tickets due to force majeure are refundable.

Pandemic prevention measures:

• Due to epidemic prevention and control considerations, the following precautionary measures could be taken upon arrival:

• temperature taking

• wearing masks

• show Beijing Health Kit (“Jian Kang Bao”) and Itinerary code

  
  

• You cannot participate in this event if:

• you have been abroad from 16th October to 13th November

• you have lived in a medium-high risk area from 16th October to 13th November

• you have been in close contact with confirmed cases, suspected cases or asymptomatic cases of COVID-19, or have been infected with COVID-19 yourself from medium-high risk area from 16th October to 13th November

• if your Health Code is yellow or red

• if you have abnormal body temperature with possible epidemiological diseases
