The German Chamber of Commerce - North China is excited to invite you to the 20th German Ball 2022, the largest event for the German community in Beijing. This year we are looking forward to curing your fernweh in a fanciful night with dinner and dancing.
How about escaping from your daily routines and getting back on a trip? To invoke the poetic notion of travel and the deepest cravings in your heart, we hereby make Fernweh the theme for this year. Get prepared and immerge yourself into the faraway lands, a world that is decorated with exotic elements, where your goading restlessness may release.

Pandemic Prevention Measures
1. According to the latest regulation on March 14th, people are not allowed to join any gatherings in the first 7 days after returning or entering Beijing, which means all guests need to be in Beijing from March 19th. (北京新增3例本土感染者，疾控提醒：进返京人员7日内不聚餐、不聚会)
2. All guests must show your 48-hour negative nucleic acid test report upon arrival.
3. All guests need to show double green codes, i.e. Beijing Health Code (“北京健康宝”) and Itinerary Code (“行程码”).
4. Due to epidemic prevention and control considerations, the following precautionary measures could be taken upon arrival:

5. CANNOT PARTICIPATE in this event if
if your itinerary Code (“行程码”) has a star.
you have been abroad from March 6th to March 26th.
you have lived in a medium-high risk area from March 13th to March 26th.
you have been in close contact with confirmed cases, suspected cases or asymptomatic cases of COVID-19, or have been infected with COVID-19 yourself from medium-high risk area from March 13th to March 26th.
if your Health Code is yellow or red or a pop-up window on your health code.
if you have abnormal body temperature with possible epidemiological diseases.
Reservation & Cancellation Policy
Events have limited seating, so to ensure your attendance we encourage you to register in advance. We cannot guarantee entry to those that have not pre-registered. If you registered for an event but cannot attend, please do let us know in advance. No-shows who fail to cancel before March 21st will be charged with the full price.
If unforeseen changes in pandemic prevention policy occur, resulting in limited number of guests allowed at the event venue, event partner tables and group bookings will be prioritized. Remaining tables/seats will be allocated by drawing lots.
All cancelled tickets due to force majeure are refundable.
