Robert Aspell is CASC Asia Pacific Group Leader and the President of Cargill Asia Pacific since June, 2018. Aspell joined Cargill as a grain trader in Montréal, Quebec, Canada right after he graduated from Concordia University in Montreal in 1983 with majors in Marketing and Finance. Dowson Tong joined Tencent in 2005 and currently serves as Senior Executive Vice President of Tencent，and CEO of the Cloud and Smart Industries Group. 

Since 2018, Dowson has led Tencent's Cloud and Smart Industries Group (CSIG, hereafter), promoting the company's strategic planning and development in cloud and industrial internet, as well as jointly overseeing advertising and marketing services. Dowson previously served as President of Tencent's Social Network Group, overseeing the development strategies of QQ communication, social networking platforms, valueadded services, and open platforms.

With a vision and mission of "Value for Users, Tech for Good" , Dowson leads the CSIG to create innovative solutions. With forward looking technologies and professional capabilities, the CSIG continues to focus on sectors such as transportation, retail, healthcare, education, finance, and industry, helping various sectors accelerate digital transformation and upgrading.

Before joining Tencent, he worked at Sendmail Inc., where he led the development of operator scale email and messaging systems. He also worked at Oracle, where he managed the development and testing of its servers and applications.

Dowson earned a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan.

Weiming Xiang is the Vice President of GE and President of GE China. In his role, Weiming is responsible for strengthening stakeholders’ relationships in the region, supporting the development and execution of business strategy and risk management in China market, and aligning GE’s business strategies with China’s overall development goals.Weiming focuses on leveraging GE's global scale and leading technologies to enable the company to sustain long -term business growth in China, the single-largest country market outside the U.S.Weiming also serves as the President of GE Aviation Greater China.Joining GE in 1992, Weiming has held leadership positions and been involved various roles including market development, sales, service, product project management and business development strategy, in GE Aviation, GE Transportation and other business units, across China and the U.S.

Mr.Xiao Zhiping holds a master's degree in economics from Jinan University and is a senior economist. He now serves as the Director and General Manager of Guangdong Guangxin Holding Group Ltd. Mr.Xiao holds the position of Vice President at the Guangdong Enterprise Confederation. Previously, he served as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Provincial Enterprises dispatched by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Guangdong Province. Mr.Xiao was the Deputy General Manager of Guangdong Silk Textile Group Co., Ltd., as well as the Deputy General Manager of Guangdong Guangxin Holding Group Co., Ltd. Additionally, he concurrently served as the Chairman of Guangdong Silk Textile Group Co., Ltd. Mr.Xiao has extensive experience in state-owned capital investment and operation management. During his tenure, he led the mergers and acquisitions of multiple listed companies, facilitated the implementation of numerous major investment projects, and possesses a wealth of experience in state-owned enterprise reform and capital investment management.

Yvonne Xie is the new media executive editor of Fortune China.She previously served as the managing editor of the business department for China Daily’s website and as senior manager of global communications for the Dalian Wanda Group.Ms.Xie is the co-winner of the 20th China News Awards for Best Interview.She graduated from Nankai University and the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Dr. Xu Daquan graduated from Tsinghua University with a bachelor’s degree in Thermal Energy Engineering in 1985. After that, he studied at Chiba University in Japan, where he received a master degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1989 and a doctor degree in Production Science & Technology in 1992. He also received an MBA degree from Simon Business School of University of Rochester in USA in 2000. From 1992 to 1999, he worked as Sr. Engineer in Engineering Department of Powertrain in General Motors, located in Technical Centres in Tokyo and New York. From 2000, he worked as Project Manager for a major global automotive supplier in New York Technical Centre. Dr. Xu Daquan returned back to China in 2005. Since September 2010, Dr. Xu Daquan has been the Executive Vice President of Bosch (China) Investment Ltd., responsible for Automotive Technology business sector of Bosch in China.

Ms. Jasmine Xu joined P&G in 1997 and is currently the Chairman of the Board and CEO of P&G Greater China. Jasmine is P&G's first native Chinese president, representing a proud milestone for P&G and Greater China.

William Yu was appointed as President of Honeywell China in February 2022.He is responsible for driving Honeywell’s organic growth in China and building a strong talent pool across the board to support the company’s long-term “East-for-East (E4E)” strategy. William will work closely with the businesses to drive Key Strategic Accounts initiative at the C-Suite level to bring One-Honeywell solutions addressing the most critical needs of customers.  

Before returning to Honeywell China, William held multiple leadership positions at Honeywell. He led the Honeywell Smart Energy business under the Honeywell Performance Materials and Technologies (PMT) - now known as Honeywell Energy and Sustainability Solutions, in the United States, serving as Global Vice President and General Manager. Prior to that, William led Honeywell China and PMT Asia Pacific businesses. William joined Honeywell in 2017 as Vice President and General Manager of PMT for Asia Pacific.  

William brings to Honeywell a long track record of significant growth in multiple industries. He previously served as Senior Vice President and APAC President of Allegion, a global pioneer in safety and security solutions and a spin-off from Ingersoll Rand. Before that, William spent 16 years at Ingersoll Rand in several senior executive roles, including President of its Security Technologies and Residential Solutions business in Asia Pacific.

 

William is a renowned expert in Lean Six Sigma and serves as a Visiting Researcher and Professor at multiple universities including Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Shanghai International Studies University. He lecturers at the School of Management at Shanghai Fudan University and the School of Business at East China University of Science and Technology. He is also a member of the Shanghai Institute of Management Science and a Senior Member of the American Society for Quality. William has authored more than ten books on business management and Six Sigma practices.

 

William earned a bachelor’s degree in German from the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology and an Executive MBA from China Europe International Business School.

David Zhang was appointed Executive Vice President and Executive Board Member of Nestlé Group, and CEO of Zone Greater China, effective from January 01, 2022. Zone Greater China is one of the five geographic zones of Nestlé Group, with 22 factories, 3 R&D centers, 5 product innovation centers and over 23,000 employees, represents CHF 5.4 billion in annual sales as of 2022.

David has worked in the pharmaceutical and FMCG industry for nearly 30 years, which has afforded him with extensive experience in finance, operation, sales, and management.

David started his career in 1995 as an Accounting Manager at Carrier Air-conditioner from 1995 to 1997, and then joined Yusai Cosmetics Ltd. in 1998 as Finance Manager. In 2000, he joined Wyeth as Finance Director of China Mainland & Hong Kong. Since 2009, he was appointed Finance Director of China Mainland & Hong Kong of Pfizer. 

In 2012, David jointed Nestlé as Senior Operation Director of Wyeth Nutrition China of Nestlé Group. He was then promoted to Vice President of Grocery Retail Sales of Nestlé Greater China Region in 2015. Since 2017, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Shanghai Totole Food Ltd. and Business Executive Officer for Food in Nestlé Greater China.

David holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of 

Shanghai Science and Technology and a master degree of Business Administration at the School of Management, Fudan (Hong Kong) University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant of China and a Fellow of CPA Australia. 

David is married and has one son.

Mr. Li Zhong has extensive international experience in the healthcare, retail, and consumer goods sectors. He has held senior positions in leading companies across the UK, Europe, Asia, and the US, with responsibilities spanning business operations, corporate finance, M&A, integration and fund management.

 

Mr. Zhong joined Walgreens Boots Alliance (WBA) in 2008. Since 2021, he has served as President of Asia Pacific, responsible for WBA’s operations, joint ventures, equity and fund investment businesses across the region. He is currently Vice Chairman of Guoda Drugstore (China's leading pharmacy chain with about 10,000 stores), and a Standing Committee Member of the China Association of Pharmaceutical Commerce (China’s industry body for pharmaceutical distribution and retail pharmacy).

 

Prior to his current role, Mr. Zhong was WBA Group Vice President of Global M&A and Development at its global headquarters in Chicago, where he played a key role in driving the Group’s strategic deals focusing on healthcare services and digital innovations, including the oversight of WBA's corporate venture capital arm (Well Ventures) and various fund investments.

 

Mr. Zhong’s previous boardroom experience includes serving on the boards of several pharmaceutical services and healthcare technology companies in the US, Europe and China.

 

Before joining WBA, he held several management roles at Procter & Gamble UK/Europe.

 

Mr. Zhong earned his Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics with Computer Science from the University of Cambridge. He is a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

 

Michael Zhong spearheads the China Office of SP International (SPI), the international business subsidiary of SP Group. He is responsible for exploring business development and investment opportunities within China. Michael has more than 25 years of experience in the energy business with extensive knowledge of the Chinese energy infrastructure markets and policies. He was previously the Deputy Chief Financial Officer of SGSP (Australia) Assets Pty Ltd, a joint venture between State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC) and SP Group in Victoria, Australia. Prior to that, Michael held key leadership positions in SGCC, ranging from business development, tariff regulation and finance. He was the Head of Business Development of State Grid Overseas Investment Ltd, where he was responsible for the cornerstone investment in HK Electric Investments and established SGCC’s overseas funding platform through issuances of bonds. He was also the Deputy Head of Tariff Regulation Division in SGCC where he was closely involved in the electricity market reform and renewable energy incentive scheme with the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), State Electricity Regulatory Commission (SERC) and provincial regulators. Michael has a Master of Economics from Central University of Finance and Economics, Beijing, China.

Cherry Zhu is currently president of Dow Greater China. She leads the strategic business growth, market development and financial performance for the region. She also plays a key role enhancing company's employee experience in Greater China and advancing a culture of inclusion and diversity.

Previously, Cherry was global product director for Dow Consumer Solutions responsible for leading Engineered Materials and Elastomers growth and managing business Profit & Loss.

Zhu joined Dow in 2001 as technical service & development engineer for Engineering Plastics in China. Since 2004, she had taken on various leadership roles, including product manager for glass bonding adhesives in Europe, Asia Pacific commercial director for Dow Automotive Systems, and Asia Pacific product director for Dow Elastomers. 

Cherry earned her master's degree in Polymer Science & Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2000 and her MBA from Northwood University, USA in 2010. She stays with her family in Shanghai.

Cherry is the Board Member of Junior Achievement China, Executive Advisory Board Member ofCommittee of Multinationals of CPCIF, and Advisory Board Member of AICM.
