Embracing the winter and skiing season we would like to extend a warm invitation to visit two hidden champions in the winter sport industry based in Sanhe City. Join us on December 13 to get insights, market information and technical displays at Doppelmayr and TechnoAlpin.

Doppelmayr is worldwide known for its ropeways and gondolas in summer and winter tourism areas. The company also engages in urban passenger transport and material handling. Headquartered in Austria, the company has provided a great number of installations for the Olympic Games Beijing in 2022. 

TechnoAlpin is spearheading the international development and market for snow guns and snow making technology. As an international leader in snowmaking equipment and technology, TechnoAlpin has more than 60 % of the global snowmaking equipment market share. During the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, TechnoAlpin provided snowmaking equipment, systems and related technical services to all snow competition venues.

The two companies Sanhe Doppelmayr Transport Systems Co., Ltd. and TechnoAlpin Snow Making Equipment Co., Ltd. are in the same location in Sanhe, Hebei and AHK will provide a shuttle bus from DRC Building for that visit.

The company is located in Yanjiao Development Zone, Sanhe City, Hebei Province, covering an area of 100 acres, with 7000 square meters of factory buildings and 660 square meters of office buildings. The company currently employs about 120 people, of which, 10 are project engineers, 8 are in after-sales team, 2 are in the marketing department, and 8 are in the finance and personnel department.

Sanhe Doppelmayr is mainly engaged in Doppelmayr's sales, project execution, marketing and after-sales maintenance in China. Most of the ropeway equipment is imported from Europe, such as gondolas, wire ropes, electrical equipment and so on. Sanhe Doppelmayr mainly produces station and line steel structures, such as supports, top and bottom station steel structures, etc. The company has an after-sales service point and a common spare parts warehouse in Sanhe.

Sanhe Doppelmayr has a total of (including under construction) 140 ropeway equipments, accounting for more than 60% of the imported ropeway market in China.
