Event Background 活动背景:


Zhenjiang is a famous cultural and ecological city with over 3,000 years of history and a total area of 3,840 square kilometers. Located at the intersection of the Yangtze River and the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, Zhenjiang is also an important advanced manufacturing base in the Yangtze River Delta region. As a core city of the Nanjing Metropolitan Area, it has rich scientific and educational resources as well as convenient transportation, including the Zhenjiang Port, one of China’s 43 main hub ports with a capacity of 230 million tons in 2022, and the Zhenjiang Dalu General Airport, East China’s first Class A large-scale general airport. Zhenjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone, a national Economic Development Zone, has become an emerging integration of high-end equipment manufacturing, new materials, aerospace, new energy, health and medical, and other key industries after more than 30 years of development. It has also attracted over 60 enterprises among the world's top 500 companies to settle down.


镇江市位于长江与京杭大运河“十”字交汇处，总面积3840平方公里。作为一座拥有3000多年建制的文化名城和生态名城，镇江有的不仅仅是脍炙人口的历史典故,这里还是长三角地区重要的先进制造业基地、南京都市圈核心城市，科教资源丰富，交通便利。镇江港是全国43个主枢纽港之一，2022年吞吐量2.3亿吨，镇江大路通用机场是华东地区首个A类大型通用机场。而作为国家级经济技术开发区的镇江经开区，经过三十余年的发展，已成为集高端装备制造、新材料、航空航天、新能源、生命健康等一批重点产业于一身的“新兴体”。目前已吸引世界五百强中的60余家企业落户。
