Event Background 活动背景:


Xi'an, known as Chang'an in ancient times - the starting point of the ancient Silk Road and the ancient capital of 13 dynasties, is the capital of Shaanxi Province and the core city of Xi'an Metropolitan Area and the Guanzhong Plain City Cluster. It is an important central city in western China, and home to important scientific research, education, and industrial bases. The city spans 10,752 square kilometers, with a population of 13 million.


西安，古称长安，古“丝绸之路”起点城市，是13朝古都，也是陕西省省会、西安都市圈以及关中平原城市群核心城市。同时，西安也是中国西部地区重要的中心城市，国家重要的科研、教育和工业基地。市域总面积10752平方公里，常住千米人口1300万人。


Xi'an Economic & Technological Development Zone was established in 1993 in the north of Xi'an City. It is the administrative center and the "North Gate" of Xi'an. The zone spans 272 square kilometers, ranking first among 217 national-level economic development zones in 2022 and first in western China. It plays a crucial role in the construction of a "world-class industrial innovation and development zone", serving as an essential hub for Xi’an City’s development.


西安市经济技术开发区成立于1993年，位于西安市城北，是西安市行政中心和“北大门”。全区规划面272平方公里，2022年综合实力位列217个国家级经开区第一方阵，西部第一。作为西安市重要承载区，紧紧围绕建设“世界一流产业创新发展区”。


Following last year’s successful ‘Xplore China- Shaanxi 2023’delegation, we will again host a German delegation this year to explore the vast potential of three major industrial clusters: new energy, new materials, and automotive manufacturing in Xi'an, the city with a long history in Chinese civilization.


继去年的"德企中国行-陕西"代表团活动之后，今年我们将组织德企代表将再度造访西安，深度探索这座在华夏文明的浩瀚长河中屹立至今的古都于新能源、新材料及汽车制造三大产业集群的巨大潜力。
