Event Background 活动背景:

Located at the easternmost tip of Shandong Peninsula, surrounded by sea on three sides and land on the other, Weihai City, with a total area of 5822.07 square kilometers and a resident population of 2.918 million, is a beautiful coastal city and one of the first batch of China's coastal open cities. Weihai is now gradually forming a new generation of eight industrial clusters includinginformation technology, new medicines and medical devices, advanced equipment and intelligent manufacturing, carbon fiber and composite materials, marine biology and health food, fashion and leisure sports products, recreation and tourism, new energy, to build a more competitive modern industrial system.

威海市地处山东半岛最东端，三面环海，一面接陆，总面积5822.07平方公里，常住人口291.8万，是一座美丽的滨海城市，也是第一批中国沿海开放城市。威海目前正逐步形成新一代信息技术、新医药与医疗器械、先进装备与智能制造、碳纤维等复合材料、海洋生物与健康食品、时尚与休闲运动产品、康养旅游、新能源八大产业集群，构建更具竞争力的现代产业体系

This time, the German delegation of Industrial Clusters Insights-Weihai will take you to visit two well-known German companies, Marquardt Switches and ZF Automotive Safety Systems, which have already landed in Weihai, and focus on the development status of the three major industries, medical devices, intelligent manufacturing and new materials in Lingang Area.

本次探索产业集群系列威海站将带大家参观已在威海落地的两家知名德国企业马夸特开关及采埃孚汽车安全系统，重点考察临港区医疗器械、智能制造及新材料三大产业的发展现状。
