2024年上半年，乘用车销量实现同比6%的增长，新能源汽车和出口市场成为增长引擎。然而，在这一片繁荣景象的背后，行业内却暗流涌动，价格战愈演愈烈，市场竞争进入白热化阶段。但这种短期的价格竞争却在一定程度上忽视了产品本身的价值和技术创新的重要性。这种“内卷”现象不仅加剧了企业的经营压力，更可能导致整个行业的恶性竞争，长远来看，不利于行业的健康发展。
In the first half of 2024, China’s passenger vehicle sales achieved a 6% year-on-year growth, with new energy vehicles and the export market serving as key drivers of this increase. However, behind this prosperous landscape, there are underlying currents of intense price wars and heightened market competition. Such short-term price competition, to some extent, neglects the intrinsic value of the products and the importance of technological innovation. This phenomenon of "involution" not only intensifies the operational pressure on companies but may also lead to unhealthy competition across the industry, which, in the long run, is detrimental to its healthy development.
面对这一挑战，车企应积极探索新的增长路径，采取多元化策略。一方面，它们加强技术创新的步伐，推出满足市场需求的产品；另一方面，着眼于海外市场拓展，通过提升新能源汽车品牌溢价能力，推动品牌向上，寻找新的增长点。从单纯的价格竞争转向价值的深度挖掘。
To address these challenges, automotive companies should actively explore new avenues for growth and adopt diversified strategies. On one hand, they should accelerate technological innovation and introduce products that meet market demands. On the other, they should focus on expanding overseas markets by enhancing the brand premium of new energy vehicles, thereby elevating their brand value and identifying new growth opportunities. The focus should shift from mere price competition to the in-depth exploration of value.
回顾过去70年，中国汽车产业取得了实质性的突破，波澜壮阔。在这个伟大的时代里，我们更应该关注行业的健康有序发展，以及企业的行稳致远。回归初心，践行长期主义，才是我们共同的目标和追求。
Reflecting on the past 70 years, China’s automotive industry has made substantial breakthroughs and significant strides. In this remarkable era, we should prioritize the healthy and orderly development of the industry and the sustainable growth of enterprises. Returning to our original intentions and adhering to long-termism are our shared goals and aspirations.
为此，2024第十二届汽车与环境创新论坛将汇聚政、企、学、研各界精英，围绕“创新铸魂 不负时代”的主题，深入探讨驱动产业变革的关键要素，包括政策标准趋势、企业战略部署、消费环境变化、产品迭代创新及前瞻技术应用等，旨在共同探讨中国汽车产业的可持续发展道路。
To this end, the 12th Automobile and Environmental Innovation Forum will bring together elites from the government, industry, academia, and research sectors. Under the theme of “Innovation as the Soul, Keeping Pace with the Times,” we will delve into the key factors driving industry transformation.
