Chen Mai, the founder and CEO of Tenclass, graduated with a Bachelor's degree from the School of Computer Science at South China University of Technology. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration through a joint program between Zhejiang University and Singapore Management University.

In 2016, she co-founded Tenclass with her partners, merging AI, big data analytics, and cloud desktop technologies with online education to pioneer a new online learning model. This model provides comprehensive services such as platforms, systems, and courses for learners, advancing the creation of a learning-oriented society. Tenclass has become a one of the most prominent AI EdTech companies in China.

Chen Mai was listed as an Outstanding Private Entrepreneur (recorded by the Ministry of Science and Technology,PRC in 2022). In 2023, she was recognized as an Outstanding Young Entrepreneur in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, a Leading Figure in Shenzhen's Annual High-Quality Development, and an Innovative Businesswoman of the Year.
