Holly Lei has taken over as President of Covestro China based in Shanghai, effective July 1, 2019. With more than 20 years of experience in cross-cultural management around the world, Lei is the first local female leader for this position.
With a strong technical background in chemical engineering and material science, Lei started her career at Bayer MaterialScience (the predecessor company of Covestro) in 1999 as a technical representative, and has since held various management positions of increasing responsibilities focusing on sales, technical service and R&D in Greater China and the APAC region. As a seasoned leader strong at managing dispersed teams, she devoted her cross-industry insights and customer centric mindset to develop focus industries for Covestro's Business Unit Polycarbonates in Greater China and the APAC region.
In her role as Global Head of Electrical, Electronics & Appliances (EE&A), BU Polycarbonates, Lei helped Covestro strengthen its industrial leadership by enhancing the global CMF (color, materials, finish) capabilities, transforming Covestro from a material supplier to an innovation partner.
Apart from her business success, Lei is also an affectionate people leader and excels at fostering an environment that empowers people to flourish and develop to their fullest potential. As an avid ambassador of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) at Covestro, she has been actively promoting DEI in the workplace and community.
Lei holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Dalian University of Technology in China and a master’s degree in material science from Université de Sherbrooke in Canada. She has also received executive training at INSEAD Business School in France.
Lei is also a supervisory board member of GEA Group AG, Vice Chair of the Shanghai Chapter of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China, and Chairman of the Shanghai Chemical Industry Park International Experts’ Consultancy Forum.
Lei was on Fortune's “Most Powerful Women in Business in China” list in 2021, 2022 and 2023, and Forbes China's “Women in Tech 2020” list.
Lei is married with a grown-up son.
Ms. Chrissie Shangguan currently serves as the Vice President, Linde Greater China, overseeing procurement business, initiatives of carbon emission reduction, and sustainable development-related affairs in Linde’s Greater China.
Ms. Chrissie Shangguan joined Linde in 2003 and has held various senior management positions in Linde China, including Director of Productivity and Efficiency, Director of Project Management.
In March 2019, following the merger of the legacy Linde Group and legacy Praxair, Inc. to form Linde plc, Ms. Chrissie Shangguan was appointed as Director of Project Management in LindeGreater China. During this period, she oversaw the comprehensive integration of Linde's operations in the Greater China region, including business, processes, and systems.
In 2021, Ms. Chrissie Shangguan assumed the leadership role in charge of the carbon reduction and sustainable development in Linde Greater China. She has been actively promoting Linde's sustainable development strategy in the Chinese market, advancing green and low-carbon operations across Linde’s plants and facilities. She is committed to establishing and enhancing Linde's ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management system in China, jointly with customers and partners to advocate the coordinated development among enterprises, society, and the environment. Her efforts have laid a solid foundation for Linde to achieve its global goals of “reducing absolute carbon emissions by 35% by 2035” and “achieving carbon neutrality by
2050”.
Sunny Sun was appointed as Vice President and General Manager for Honeywell Energy & Sustainability Solutions (ESS) in China in September 2024. He oversees and drives the operational and strategic direction of ESS China for the sustainable growth of the business in the country.
As one of Honeywell’s four business groups, ESS is a global leader in delivering leading solutions for energy transition, greenhouse gas reduction, and conversion to sustainable materials. Its innovative solutions help tackle 70% of the world’s carbon emission problems and enable customers to achieve more sustainable growth.
Sunny is a senior executive with over 20 years of experience in the coatings and chemical industry. Before joining Honeywell, he was Managing Director of Clean Air in China at Johnson Matthey, and led the sales, technology, manufacturing and supply chain functions.
Sunny started his career as a high school teacher. He later transitioned into the business sector, accumulating diverse sales roles across different industries with companies like Shanghai Tyre & Rubber Co., Ltd, Delphi Battery Co., Ltd., and DuPont Performance Coatings. At DuPont, he was recognized as a "Young Leader" and participated in the Asia leadership training program.
In 2003, Sunny joined AkzoNobel Resins as the National Sales Manager, where he established a new sales, technical service and supply chain team for the new plant. He then moved to PPG Industries, occupying various leadership positions across multiple business units and regions. In 2017, Sunny joined Johnson Matthey as the Commercial Director for Asia in Clean Air and has since advanced to increasingly senior roles.
Sunny holds a master's degree in applied chemistry from Shanghai University and an MBA degree from the University of Hong Kong in a joint program with Fudan University. He is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt.

Simon An has over 20 years of experience in supply chain management across multiple industries, including electronics, building materials, feed, and food. He holds an MBA from Xiamen University and currently serves as the Vice President of Fujian Sunner Development Co., Ltd., overseeing procurement, feed nutrition, digital planning, engineering construction, and sustainability in the supply chain.
In the transformation from agricultural and livestock products to green food, Mr. An focuses on managing the carbon footprint across the product lifecycle. He drives initiatives in energy conservation, resource protection, and renewable energy development to support the company’s sustainable development goals. Mr. An has also been deeply involved in Sunner Group’s sustainability investments and practices, such as projects in chicken manure power generation, organic fertilizers, and the construction of solar photovoltaic systems for chicken farms and production facilities.
Mr. An combines his insights on digital farming and the application of artificial intelligence, believing that digital transformation is a key element of the information technology revolution and sustainable development in the agriculture and livestock industry.
Ms. Lily Guan serves as President of Cargill China and General Counsel of Cargill North Asia.
Lily joined Cargill China in 2016 as Country Lead Lawyer, leading the country legal team and providing legal advice to support Cargill’s growth in China. Since 2021, she was promoted as General Counsel of Cargill North Asia. Since 2022, she was appointed as President of Cargill China.
Before joining Cargill, Lily had held senior legal positions including General Counsel for China in several MNCs, covering food, beauty, technology, retail and other industries.
Lily holds a LLB from Shanghai’s East China University of Political Science and Law.

Liu Yujun was born in Hubei, China in 1972, and received his Master ofEngineering from Wuhan University, China. He completed IMBA program of FIAbusiness school in Brazil. He is the Chief Auditor of China Three Gorges International Limited.
Prior to that, he was the Vice President of CTG Brasil. He started working at ChinaThree Gorges Corporation in 1998 and has been engaged in infrastructure and powerenergy development, mergers and acquisitions, corporate strategy and organizationaldevelopment. After 2007, he engaged in CTG's international investment in Malaysia,Myanmar, Australia, the United States, Portugal, Brazil, etc.
Mr. Zhile WANG, President of Shenzhen Enterprise Compliance Association, concurrently a member of the Principle 10 Expert Group of UN Global Compact, former researcher at the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation (CAITEC), Director of the Center for Research on Multinational Corporation, and Director of Beijing New-century Academy on Transnational Corporations (NATC). He received the National Certificate for Outstanding Contributions from the State Council in 1995.
He worked at the History Department of Renmin University of China from 1982 to 1992, during which time studied in Germany and Switzerland from 1985 to 1988.
He moved to the Multinational Corporation Research Center at the Ministry of Commerce in 1992.
Since joining the Ministry of Commerce in 1992, he completed research on multinational corporations from Germany, Japan, South Korea, the United States, and Singapore investing in China and authored a series of monographs. Based on this, he established a theoretical framework for global companies and industries in 2007, and accordingly demonstrated how to leverage the role of global companies in opening up to the outside world and how to promote the development of global companies originating from China. These research outcomes have been valued by high-level government leaders and have attracted the attention of domestic and international enterprises.
Since China’s accession to the WTO in 2001, he investigated the experiences and lessons of over 60 large domestic and foreign multinational companies in strengthening compliance management (including strengthening social responsibility, environmental responsibility, and anti-commercial corruption) to enhance soft competitiveness, and authored and edited a series of works on compliance management. In 2018, his policy recommendations for strengthening compliance management in Chinese enterprises were affirmed by the central leadership. In recent years, he assisted dozens of Chinese companies in establishing and improving compliance management systems to enhance corporate compliance competitiveness; and assisted relevant government departments in promoting the construction of a rule-of-law society and government through strengthened compliance management, thereby optimizing the business environment and promoting high-level opening up to the outside world.
Xie Xionghui serves as the Executive Director, Vice President, member of the Strategic and Sustainable Development (ESG) Committee and the Execution and Investment Committee of the Board of Zijin Mining Group. He joined the Zijin Mining in 2001 and expertise in law, geology, HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment), and information technology, along with relevant experience and international operational exposure. He is dedicated to the development and study of corporate sustainability (ESG).
Mr. Xie actively promotes high-quality development within the company and is dedicated to building a responsible mining enterprise. He focuses on the rational development and efficient use of natural resources, pays close attention to the relationship between mining activities and the natural environment, and seeks to achieve a harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature while advancing corporate growth. He has introduced several international ESG standards to Zijin and advanced its international development. He organized the formulation of Zijin Mining's Code of Conduct, ESG strategy, ESG management system, and information disclosure system, including leading the development of the first domestic non-ferrous industry "Zijin Mining Climate Change Action Plan" based on the TCFD framework.
Mr. Xie majors in geological and mineral exploration and holds qualifications as a lawyer, certified safety engineer, registered consulting (investment) engineer, and first-class construction engineer. He is also a member of the Sustainable Development (ESG) Professional Committee of the China Association for Public Companies and an arbitrator at the Shenzhen International Arbitration Court.

WEI Xue is the Vice President & Chief of the ESG Office at TCL Technology Group Corporation. She is also the Chairperson of TCL Charity Foundation and the Founder of Huameng Foundation.
Ms. Wei established PRAP China Public Relations Consultants, Inc. in 1997 and served as its President. In 2004, she founded the Asian Association of Women's Development and assumed the role of Chairperson. Two years on, she was appointed General Brand Consultant at TCL Corporation, and later co-founded Huameng Foundation with her husband, Mr. LIDongsheng.
In 2012, Ms. Wei became Executive Chairperson at TCL Charity Foundation, and in 2014, she took on the role of Chairperson at TCL Media & Entertainment Co. Ltd. She has also been Vice President at TCL Corporation, overseeing the TCL Brand Management Center and TCL CSR Innovation Center. Leveraging her truly global perspective, Ms. Wei has made asignificant contribution to TCL’s transformation from a local small-scale brand to a global player. In her current role as Chief of the ESG Office at TCL Technology Group, Ms. Weipromotes corporate social responsibility activities and sustainable development.
For over twenty years, she has been devoted to philanthropy and charitable endeavors, holding multiple roles. Sharon has been starting to work in sustainability area at the academy, international organization and leading multi-national companies since 2006. In the past about 20 years, her roles cover multiple segments including green building, packaging material, consuming goods, forestry product trackability and responsible supply chain, and electronics & automotive, aiming to explore sustainable solutions from the whole life cycle of business, creating sustainable business value and developing sustainable strategies from the perspective of driving business growth.
John Zheng currently serves as the Deputy General Manager, Chief Investment Officer, and Chief Financial of Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance (China) Co., Ltd., overseeing investment, technology, innovation, finance, and government relations, and has solid management experience in the insurance industry. He also has extensive experience in responsible investment and ESG technological innovation.
John Zheng is currently the Deputy chair of the Technology Committee and a think tank researcher at the Asia Financial Cooperation Association, as well as a member of the Nomination Committee of the American Institute of CPAs and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
He graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the University of Hong Kong, and currently serves as a master's advisor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, East China Normal University, Shanghai National Accounting Institute, and Shanghai International Studies University.

Chen Zidan currently serves as the Chief Sustainability Officer at Shanghai M&G Stationery Inc., where she leads the company’s initiation and implementation of sustainable development strategies.
Under her leadership, M&G Stationery, one of the world's largest stationery manufacturers, formulated its first five-year sustainable development strategy in 2021, with the vision of "writing a sustainable business future." The company focuses on four pillars: sustainable products, response to climate change, sustainable supply chain, and empowering employees and communities to lead in the industry's sustainable development.
Ms. Chen has been invited to participate in conferences such as the Hainan Consumer Goods Expo, APEC Women's Leadership Forum, and Carbon Neutrality Expo in China to share her company's sustainable practices. She is committed to addressing climate change, promoting circular economy, and advocating for low-carbon emission and plastic reduction, striving to achieving sustainable development in both social and business impact.
Ms. Chen graduated from Babson College in the United States, majoring in strategic management. She also acts as Impact Officer of Global Shapers Community Shanghai I Hub.
Adelaide joined McDonald’s China in March 2022, where she established the Impact Team to strategically enhance McDonald’s brand impact in China through strategic partnerships,proactive stakeholder engagement, forward-looking risk management, and comprehensive Brand Trust imperatives. Her leadership is central to align resources and efforts in promoting McDonald’s mission to "feed and foster local communities."
Prior to her tenure with McDonald’s China, Adelaide served as the Greater China Vice President for Mead Johnson Nutrition and Reckitt Benckiser Group and held a position on the Board of Directors for Mead Johnson Nutrition China. She previously held the role of General Manager at British American Tobacco China and was a board member of a joint venture between China Tobacco and British American Tobacco, which aimed to expand into global markets. Her career commenced in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, where she served in various diplomatic postings overseas.
Adelaide holds an EMBA from the joint program conducted by the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, recognized globally as the top-ranked EMBA program.
Mrs. Angela Lu joined SIG Group in 2022 as President of Asia Pacific South and is a member of the SIG Global Executive Board. Since November 1, 2023, Angela has been the President & General Manager of SIG Asia Pacific and is responsible for the management of the entire Asia Pacific region.
Angela has more than 25 years of experience in the FMCG industry. Prior to joining SIG, she worked for a number of leading global food and beverage companies. During her more than 10 years with Nestle, she held various leadership positions at the Swiss headquarters as well as in many key Asia Pacific markets, including Singapore, Thailand, China and Australia. Prior to that, she worked for leading international and regional FMCG companies such as The Coca-Cola, Fonterra, Gillette and Yeo's, where she gained successful experience in brand management, marketing and operations.
During her career, she has lived and worked in several countries in Asia as well as Europe, and her excellent cross-cultural communication and integration skills enable her to lead diverse teams. Angela Lu holds a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management (Marketing) from Tongji University and an MBA from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
Park Jee Seon leads L'Oréal's sustainability efforts in China and North Asia. Based in Shanghai, she is responsible for implementing L'Oréal's "For the Future" commitments in the region, focusing on green innovation and promoting sustainable consumption practices together with Consumers and Eco-system partners.
Prior to her sustainability focus, Jee headed M&A and investments for L'Oréal in Asia. She spearheaded acquisitions of Asian beauty brands and investments in C-beauty companies and technologies. Jee’s career also includes over two decades of experience in marketing and advertising with agencies across Asian markets.

Ms. Tana Dai has more than 20 years' experience in the fashion industry. She joined Erdos Cashmere Group in 1994 and is dedicated to refining her expertise in industry development, brand strategy and management.
Tana Dai keeps sustainability at the forefront of the group's strategic planning. She is one of the promoters of the establishment of the group's sustainability strategy ERDOS WAY in 2018. She's leading the group to promote and implement the concept of 'responsible cashmere' across the whole industrial chain. To further advance the sustainable actions at the beginning of the supply chain, Tana led the set-up of the Erdos Eco Ranch, where the group invests in research to develop sustainable and responsible cashmere production approaches.
Mr Ivan Lim joined ANTA Sports in July 2020, and holds the position of VP, Group Apparel & Accessories & Gear Sourcing. In his role, he is responsible for overseeing the sourcing of apparel, accessories, and gear for sportswear brands, including ANTA, FILA, DESCENTE, KOLON SPORT and MAIA ACTIVE. In addition to his sourcing responsibilities, he is also leading the Sustainability Department and becomes one of Management Board Members within the company. Ivan possessed over 25 years of experience in apparel and material sourcing in Asia and America regions. Prior to ANTA Sports Products Limited, he worked for adidas Group Apparel sourcing division for 15 years. During his time in adidas, he held different positions including Country Manager, VP and located in Indonesia, Thailand, Mexico, Taiwan, China. Ivan is a strong leader with exceptional people management skills and a deep understanding of corporate strategy. He possesses forward-thinking abilities and approaches tasks with a global perspective. Ivan not only has a strong interest in people coaching but also possesses the capability to scale it effectively. Shan Cao joined Medtronic as Vice President of Corporate Affairs and Communications in July 2021. Holly Lei has taken over as President of Covestro China based in Shanghai, effective July 1, 2019. With more than 20 years of experience in cross-cultural management around the world, Lei is the first local female leader for this position.

Park Jee Seon leads L'Oréal's sustainability efforts in China and North Asia. Based in Shanghai, she is responsible for implementing L'Oréal's "For the Future" commitments in the region, focusing on green innovation and promoting sustainable consumption practices together with Consumers and Eco-system partners.
Prior to her sustainability focus, Jee headed M&A and investments for L'Oréal in Asia. She spearheaded acquisitions of Asian beauty brands and investments in C-beauty companies and technologies. Jee’s career also includes over two decades of experience in marketing and advertising with agencies across Asian markets.
Ms. Chrissie Shangguan currently serves as the Vice President, Linde Greater China, overseeing procurement business, initiatives of carbon emission reduction, and sustainable development-related affairs in Linde’s Greater China.
Ms. Chrissie Shangguan joined Linde in 2003 and has held various senior management positions in Linde China, including Director of Productivity and Efficiency, Director of Project Management.
In March 2019, following the merger of the legacy Linde Group and legacy Praxair, Inc. to form Linde plc, Ms. Chrissie Shangguan was appointed as Director of Project Management in LindeGreater China. During this period, she oversaw the comprehensive integration of Linde's operations in the Greater China region, including business, processes, and systems.
In 2021, Ms. Chrissie Shangguan assumed the leadership role in charge of the carbon reduction and sustainable development in Linde Greater China. She has been actively promoting Linde's sustainable development strategy in the Chinese market, advancing green and low-carbon operations across Linde’s plants and facilities. Sunny Sun was appointed as Vice President and General Manager for Honeywell Energy & Sustainability Solutions (ESS) in China in September 2024. He oversees and drives the operational and strategic direction of ESS China for the sustainable growth of the business in the country.

Sunny is a senior executive with over 20 years of experience in the coatings and chemical industry. Before joining Honeywell, he was Managing Director of Clean Air in China at Johnson Matthey, and led the sales, technology, manufacturing and supply chain functions.
Sunny started his career as a high school teacher. He later transitioned into the business sector, accumulating diverse sales roles across different industries with companies like Shanghai Tyre & Rubber Co., Ltd, Delphi Battery Co., Ltd., and DuPont Performance Coatings. At DuPont, he was recognized as a "Young Leader" and participated in the Asia leadership training program.
In 2003, Sunny joined AkzoNobel Resins as the National Sales Manager, where he established a new sales, technical service and supply chain team for the new plant. He then moved to PPG Industries, occupying various leadership positions across multiple business units and regions. In 2017, Sunny joined Johnson Matthey as the Commercial Director for Asia in Clean Air and has since advanced to increasingly senior roles.
Sunny holds a master's degree in applied chemistry from Shanghai University and an MBA degree from the University of Hong Kong in a joint program with Fudan University. He is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt.

Mr. Zhile WANG, President of Shenzhen Enterprise Compliance Association, concurrently a member of the Principle 10 Expert Group of UN Global Compact, former researcher at the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation (CAITEC), Director of the Center for Research on Multinational Corporation, and Director of Beijing New-century Academy on Transnational Corporations (NATC). He received the National Certificate for Outstanding Contributions from the State Council in 1995.
He worked at the History Department of Renmin University of China from 1982 to 1992, during which time studied in Germany and Switzerland from 1985 to 1988.
He moved to the Multinational Corporation Research Center at the Ministry of Commerce in 1992.
