Dear Sir/Madam,
Welcome to the 6th Software Defined Vehicles Forum & AUTOSAR China Day 2025 hosted by Gasgoo, which will be held in Shanghai from 18 to 19 March 2025.
At present, standardized hardware design in the automotive industry is approaching its peak, with hardware performance nearing physical limits. As vehicles evolve from traditional modes of transportation into "intelligent mobile spaces," consumers are envisioning more diverse scenarios and purposes for automobiles. The automotive industry is increasingly turning to software for transformation and development.
The rising importance of software services has created new opportunities for deep integration and collaboration across industries. In the trend of software defined vehicles, facing diverse market demands and rapid changes, open collaboration to build a new ecosystem is an inevitable path.
Since 2003, AUTOSAR has been dedicated to developing and introducing open and standardized software architecture for the automotive industry. The AUTOSAR approach lays the foundation for reliably controlling the increasingly complex electronic and software systems of today and the future by simplifying the replacement and updating of software and hardware.
Against this backdrop, the 6th Software Defined Vehicles Forum and AUTOSAR China Day in 2025, hosted by Gasgoo, will focus on software-defined vehicles. Discussions will revolve around industry focal points such as in-vehicle communication solutions, SOA architecture, vehicle cloud computing, middleware for intelligent driving domains, high-performance computing software platforms, and more. During AUTOSAR China Day, experts will share insights on the development of AUTOSAR in China, new released features, and engage in discussions on future trends in automotive software technology.
With your participation and support, we believe this conference will achieve even greater success!
Gasgoo invites you!

Calterah AUTOSAR Software Collaboration Platform-Creating a New Model for Efficient Chip Deployment with Customers
Zach Zheng | Calterah Software Director
As automotive electronics advance, the collaboration model between chip companies, Tier1 suppliers, and OEMs is undergoing a profound transformation. Traditional development processes were serial, where chip companies completed validation and delivery before Tier1 and OEMs began adaptation and integration. This often resulted in prolonged development cycles and significant misalignment during critical stages. The Calterah AUTOSAR Software Collaboration Platform introduces unified interfaces and collaborative development, enabling a shift from serial to parallel development, significantly improving product delivery efficiency and adaptation quality.
In the traditional model, chip companies maintained two separate codebases: one for functional validation and another for automotive product delivery. Tier1 and OEMs could only intervene in the later stages, creating redundant efforts and extensive adaptation work. Using the Calterah AUTOSAR Software Collaboration Platform, we have unified the verification and delivery interfaces under the AUTOSAR standard, simplifying interoperability and interface complexity. More importantly, this platform advances parallel collaboration by involving Tier1 and OEMs early in the development process, aligning functional validation with adaptation and integration.
This transformation has delivered significant benefits: the development cycle is reduced by 30%, and delivery and adaptation workloads are halved. Through its modular architecture and secure collaboration mechanisms, Tier1 and OEMs can engage earlier to ensure functional consistency and efficient iteration across the entire system. This innovation paves the way for faster responses to market demands in the automotive industry.
Looking ahead, Calterah seeks to extend this platform to emerging domains such as autonomous driving and intelligent connectivity. By fostering an innovative collaborative approach, we aim to build an industry-wide ecosystem for intelligent collaboration, accelerating both chip deployment and industrial evolution.
Conclusion:
We warmly invite more partners to join us in driving this transformation. Together, through parallel development and collaborative innovation, we can revolutionize chip development processes and deliver products faster and more efficiently!

Demonstrate Freedom from Interference by using Architecture Analysis
Fan Zhang | Senior Solution Engineer of Qt Group China
Safe operation of any embedded device is enabled by a rigorous architectural design. In ISO26262 mixed-ASIL systems, the architecture needs to ensure freedom from interference among the safety-related partitions and between safety-related and QM partitions.
So how do you comply with this requirement?
After a safety architecture has been defined and verified, static analysis can (and should) be used to demonstrate compliance between implemented source code and this architecture. This speech highlights one way to apply an architecture check for the aspect of freedom from interference.

Atop and underneath the Adaptive Platform - Service Modeling and a multi-kernel OS
Masaki Gondo | eSOL SEVP/CTO/Head of Software
It has been seven years since AUTOSAR Adaptive Platform was first released, and there have been multiple mass-production deployments, not to mention numerous PoCs, etc. However, more often than not, the software system design that uses the Adaptive Platform is not optimal due to the lack of architectural understanding of the platform. In this talk, as one of the early architects, I will present the key approach to bringing the best out of the Adaptive Platform. Then, applying it to the service layer, a non-automotive domain modeling for SDV is introduced. Also, by applying it to the OS layer, the multi-kernel approach is explained. It concludes with how the combination of both, atop and beneath the Adaptive Platform, will best utilize the Adaptive Platform.

With the rise of software-defined vehicles, we are seeing a trend towards service-oriented applications(SOA) not only on new hardware and software platforms (e.g., Adaptive AUTOSAR), but also on legacy platforms (e.g., Classic AUTOSAR). How to construct a unified methodology and process for these different platforms is a key to improve development efficiency and reduce maintenance cost. The Model-Based Design (MBD) method has been widely used in the electronic control development of the automotive industry in the past for its “shift-left” concept and systematic verification methods, core algorithms of enterprises have been retained in the form of model assets. The adoption of MBD to SOA development becomes one of the common concerns of the industry. In this speech, Great Wall Motor and MathWorks jointly elaborated on the process and related practices of developing SOA applications based on AUTOSAR with MBD, hoping to provide a reference for the automotive industry in the implementation of software-defined vehicles.
