The 29th APEC Economic Leaders Meeting endorsed the Bangkok Goals on the Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) Economy as a comprehensive framework to further APEC’s sustainability objectives. Joint efforts of APEC economies in pursing sustainable development are of great importance to achieve the Bangkok Goals and contribute to the realization of the Putrajaya Vision 2040, to build an open, dynamic, resilient, and peaceful Asia Pacific community.

We believe the business community can play a critical role in advancing this mission, through our commitment in sustainable business operations, green production and consumption, responsible investment and innovation, etc. 

APEC China CEO Forum is the highest-profile business event held annually by ACBC in China. Launched in 2012, APEC China CEO Forum is dedicated to building an engaging platform for China’s business community to participate in global economic development, share China’s business opportunities and practices, and promote win-win cooperation. 

Achieving sustainable development has become a global challenge facing every economy. China adheres to the concept “mountains and rivers green are mountains of silver and gold”, implementing a national strategy of active responding to climate change, and accelerating a green and low-carbon transformation of development modes. Under this circumstances, APEC China CEO Forum 2023 will theme on “Pursue High-Quality, Sustainable Development”, to explore replicable pathways and green practices to co-build a better future for the Asia Pacific region.
