The APEC Women Leadership Forum (“the Forum”) is an important platform dedicated to promoting women’s participation in the economy and global cooperation and strengthening women’s leadership. Initiated by the APEC China Business Council and operated within the APEC framework, the Forum aims to connect women leaders in China and around the globe and to contribute women’s wisdom to global economic development.
The APEC Women’s Leadership Forum works around four key pillars impacting women’s economic empowerment: Digital Economy, Consumption Market, ESG and Women’s Health. Through activities including events, projects, capacity building program and research, talented women from APEC economies will be able to exchange views on topics of business, trade and leadership development, share experiences, build connections, and explore cooperation opportunities, with a view to inspire more innovation to achieve sustainable business and personal development.
