2023年，默克和WE女性发展协会联合发布了“健康女性 · 健康经济”白皮书，并于近期发布《健康女性健康经济报告》。在这份以中国为重点的报告中显示，中国女性承受着繁重的家庭责任并面临各种职场偏见，这些挑战不仅影响了中国女性的就业、晋升和成功能力，还对女性的心理健康和福祉产生了负面影响。默克此项“健康女性 · 健康经济”全球倡议倡导多元化、公平性和包容性的企业文化，呼吁社会关爱女性，赋予女性力量推动经济发展，最后但同样重要的一点，提醒女性要关爱自己。
