China Association for Vaccines(CAV) is the only vaccine industrial association in China approved by the government. All members are enterprises and research institutions regarding vaccine development, production and marketing. There are 43 vaccine manufacturers as member enterprises. More than ten professional conferences in the field of biomedical science are held every year.
Founded in the 1980s, the China Biological Products Annual Conference (CBioPC) is the most influential academic event in the biomedical field of China, with a history of more than 30 years. CBioPC is led by CAV, jointly hosted by several national associations. It has been successfully held for 19 sessions.
The purposes of CBioPC are to promote the effective integration of technologies, markets, capital, talents, management and other factors in the field of biomedicine at home and abroad, to explore the development and application of new biotechnology and new drugs, to present the updated research results, and to build a platform for interdisciplinary exchange of professional researchers and transformation of industry, study and research.
CBioPC will set up the main conference and parallel sessions, including recombinant therapeutic biological products, vaccines, gene therapy, cell therapy, stem cells, biopharmaceutical engineering and other cutting-edge biotechnology and biomedical investment. The conference will invite academicians and experts from National Health Commission of the People’s Republic of China, National Medical Products Administration, CDCs, universities, institutes, and pharmaceutical companies. The reports cover the updated research achievements, cutting-edge technologies, and policies and regulations of biomedical R&D.
The 20th CBioPC will be held from November 19th to 21th, Zhuhai city，Guangdong province. It is expected that more than 3000 representatives from over 1000 enterprises will attend the conference, with nearly 200 reports and more than 150 exhibitors.
