Transportation for INASCON 2019 Participants: Airport to THU

The address of Tsinghua University is 30 Shuangqing Rd, Haidian, Beijing. We are located in the northwest of Beijing and own a good transportation network.

Generally, Beijing Capital International Airport Terminal 2 is the only arrival place for international passengers. Several ways to get to THU from Capital Airport are as follows.

(1) Subway

Take Airport Line, transfer at Sanyuanqiao Station(三元桥) to Line 10. Then transfer at Zhichunlu Station (知春路) to Line 13. The destination is Wudaokou Station (五道口) and you can walk to the Southeast Gate of THU within 10 minutes.

Airport line will cost you ¥20 and the rest leg ¥5.

(2) Taxi, or Chinese 'Uber'

If you arrive later than 11 PM, a taxi ride that costs more than ¥100 will be the only choice. If, luckily, no traffic jam takes place, the trip takes no more than an hour.

Besides, online vehicle hiring is available too. Didi, a platform like Uber, is available on App Store and you can use Alipay Payment to pay the bill online.

(3) Airport Shuttle Bus

Shuttle Line 5 to Zhongguancun 中关村 will take you right to the Southeast Gate of THU from Capital Airport. The ticket price is ¥30 and the bus runs from 06:50 to 01:00 the next day during July.
