Leadership of Teaching and Learning Training Programme 

 

为推动教学主管成长、促进国际学校发展,顶思TopSchools特别推出“教学主管培训项目”,希望通过系统性的指导,完成“理论+实践+反思+再实践”的学习循环,帮助大家真正地学以致用、落地实践。

 

TopSchools is offering an inspiring programme for aspiring academic leaders and experienced teachers, which aims to fully release participants' leadership potential and enhance their management skills on the improvement of teaching and learning quality. We will provide systematic guidance through sandwich training, which combines both offline courses and online webinars.

 

之前的教学主管培训广受好评,因此我们再次推出第四期“教学领导力”培训项目。今年9月,让我们相聚北京,与全国各地优秀的教学主管同行,共同探索以学习为中心的教学领导力!

 

Our previous training has receieved many positive feedback, therefore in order to offer more academic leaders this great learning opportunity. We would like to invite you to join the fourth academic leadership training program this September at Beijing.We are looking forward for you participation, your engagement with other excellent academic leaders to seek a more learner-centered academic leadership.   

 

项目概要

项目时间:2019年9月-2020年1月

线下培训时间:

第一场 2019年9月14-15日

第二场 2020年1月4-5日 (时间从1/11-12 改至1/4-5)

项目地点:北京市第八十中学望京校区国际部(北京市朝阳区望京北路甲16号)

针对人群:拥有3年以上教学经验的骨干教师、学科负责人、教学管理者

学习目标:提升以学习为中心的教学领导力

 

Programme Overview

Training time:  From Sept, 2019 to Jan, 2020

Offline training: 

Part 1 2019/9.14-15

Part 2 2020/1.4-5 


Training venue: Beijing No. 80 Middle School (Wangjing Campus)

Trainee: Teachers with more than 3 years working experience; head of departments or subjects; teacher supervisor

Training goals: To improve academic leadership in a learning-centered manner.

Intended learning outcomes

  • Learning from current international research about what constitutes the most effective teaching

  • Developing skills in lesson observation and leading conversations with teachers about improvement

  • Develop skills in staff through the use of coaching and in-house activity

  • Developing skills in engaging students and in meeting individual needs and helping others to do so

  • Develop coaching skills

  • Developing the use and analysis of data to inform teaching and learning

  • Completing school-based work that will improve the quality of teaching and learning

第一部分

第一天 好的课堂的必要元素

    - 我们想要培养什么样的学习者

    - 我们如何让学生更投入到学习中去

    - 好的课堂的必要元素

    - 如何通过学习评估提高教学质量

 

第二天 评估和提升学习

    - 学习如何更好地看评课

    - 如何教学才能满足学生们的需求

    - 观察和评估学生的学习

    - 开发和研究数据

 

第二部分

首次线下培训后,您将有机会应用所学理论,开展教学实践,同时培训师会线上支持。

您将有机会参与两次线上研讨,课程内容由大家共同选出,比如:

  • 教师评估

  • 变革管理

  • 课程研发

 

第三部分 

第三天 引领改变

    - 对每个学员的项目进行分析和反馈

    - 改变的类型

    - 改变过程中的领导技巧

    - 一些实用的收集证据的工具可以用来计划改变

 

第四天 员工发展

    - 发展引导式提问技巧

    - 有效的员工发展内容

    - 评估

    - 反思和自我评估

 

Training Contents

Part I 

Day 1 – What makes a good lesson     

    -  what sort of learners do we want

    -  how do we engage  students

    -  what makes a good lesson

    -  how do we assess learning to help our teaching

 

Day 2  – Evaluating and improving learning   

    -  lesson observation and feedback

    -   meeting students’ needs

    -   monitoring and evaluating student learning

    -   developing and analyzing data

 

Part II

Between sessions you will undertake a small project to practise some of the skills you have learned in the first workshop with ongoing online support when you need it.

You will also participate in 2 webinars and online discussions around some agreed topics, for example:

  • Teacher appraisal

  • Change management

  • Curriculum development

 

Part III

Day 3 – Leading change   

    -   feedback and analysis of project

    -   models of change

    -   leadership skills for change

    -   tools for gathering evidence to plan for change/ planning change

 

Day 4 – Developing staff    

    -  developing coaching skills

    -  effective staff development

    -  appraisal

    -  reflection and self-evaluation
