The 7th International Conference on Smart Materials and Nanotechnology in Engineering (SMN2019) will be held in Harbin, China from September 20th to 23rd, 2019.
SMN2019 is 7th of the series of successful international conferences that encompasses and bridges the rapidly evolving smart materials and the cutting-edge nanotechnology for various applications. This conference has been promoted since 2007 by Prof. Shanyi Du and Prof. Jinsong Leng, from Harbin Institute of Technology (China). Past Conference venues have been Harbin (China, 2007), Weihai (China, 2009), Shenzhen (China, 2011), Gold Coast (Australia, 2013), Vancouver (Canada, 2015) and Madrid (Spain, 2017). SMN2019 aims at providing a comprehensive forum for discussing current state of the art of Smart Materials and Nanotechnology as well as developing future ideas on a multidisciplinary level, with emphasize on integration of smart materials and nanotechnology. The conference is to bring together the best research and applications on smart materials, structures, and nanotechnology, and will be attended by leading international experts from both academia and industry.
The conference will consist of eleven themes as follows: (1) Stimuli Responsive Materials; (2) Structural Health Monitoring & Nondestructive Evaluation; (3) Vibration Control and Energy Harvesting; (4) Behavior and Mechanics of Smart Materials; (5) Nanocomposites; (6) 4D Printing Technologies; (7) Behavior and Mechanics of Smart Materials; (8) Metamaterials; (9) Smart Surfaces and Interfaces; (10) New composites and structures; (11) Multifunctional materials. Each theme will contain 3-7 tracks and each track will be divided into several sessions depending on the number of submissions.
