China Association for Vaccines(CAV) is the only vaccine industrial association in China approved by Ministry of Civil Affairs. CAV has more than 380 members and 35 branches, mainly in the research and development, production, distribution of vaccines and biological products. More than 10 professional conferences in the field of biomedical science are held every year.
Founded in the 1980s, China Biological Products Annual Conference (CBioPC), is the most influential academic event in the biomedical field in China, with the history of more than 30 years. CBioPC is led by CAV, jointly hosted by several national associations. So far, it has been successfully held for 21 sessions.
The purposes of CBioPC is to promote the effective integration of technologies, markets, capital, talents, management and other factors in the field of biomedical at home and abroad, to explore the development and application of new biotechnology &drugs, to present and promote the latest research results and to build a platform for interdisciplinary exchange of professional researchers and transformation of industry, study and research.
CBioPC set up the main conference and parallel sessions, including recombinant therapeutic biological products, vaccines, gene therapy, cell therapy, stem cells, biomedical engineering, cutting-edge biotechnology and biomedical investment,etc. The conference invites academicians and experts who are from NHC, NMPA, CDCs, universities, science research institutes and well-known pharmaceutical companies. The reports cover the updated research achievements, cutting-edge technologies, policies and regulations of biomedical R&D.
The 22nd CBioPC will be held in Zhuhai. It is expected that more than 8,000 representatives will attend the conference that from over 1,200 enterprises, with more than 230 presentations and nearly 300 exhibitors.
