TopSchools International Pre-School Summit
【BACKGROUND】
According to the latest statistics from TopSchools, more than 1,000 kindergartens and nursery schools in Mainland China (excluding Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan) have charged at least RMB5000 per month, 60% of which are located in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
It can be predicted that the landscape of ‘dual core’- public-oriented welfare private preschools & elite-oriented high-end private preschools, will exist for a long time especially after the release of two official polices of intensifying reform and governance of early childhood education and neighborhood preschools in the year of 2018 and 2019. On one hand, the ‘dual core’ landscape will push the mid-range kindergartens to accelerate the transition either to a public-oriented welfare kindergarten or to an elite-oriented high-end one. On the other hand, individuals or enterprises, with abundant capital and sincere devotion, have more opportunities to get into the international preschool industry.
Under the circumstances of ever-changing marketing and policies, we know for sure that the international preschool industry would confront with more challenges. Comparing to the other niche realms within the education industry, how to ensure a constant supply of the high-quality faculty and staff? Is the international preschool industry tend to be market-oriented? From the perspective of preschool education groups, how to ensure each branch to develop in a balanced and sustainable way? In terms of curriculum, is international kindergarten curriculum game-oriented or not? In what ways we can do to keep our kindergartens more safety? What kind of advice can we offer to those cross-over enterprises in starting up a kindergarten from scratch?
Faced with the remaining problems of the past and the arising problems over time, the international preschool education industry has a long way to go. Fortunately, opportunities always come with challenges. Behind the scene, these urgent problems all derive from the operation model and philosophy of international kindergartens. Therefore, focusing on operation will smoothly solve many problems.
Compared with public-oriented welfare kindergartens, parents who tend to choose international kindergartens will inevitably put forward higher requirements on the educational philosophy, curriculum system, foreign teacher resources, hardware facilities and other aspects of the kindergarten. It not only requires the leaders and management teams to have international vision, but also requires them to develop advanced, scientific and systematic operation philosophy of international kindergarten. The operational level directly determines the school quality.
On this account, the first TIPS Summit will take place on July 25-26 in Shanghai. More than 300 principals of international kindergartens, experts & scholars, investors, heads of early education institutions, etc., are expected to attend the conference, discussing topics around the operation philosophy, models and tendency of high-end kindergartens and early education institutions. TIPS is designed to break through the region-based resource limit and jointly promote the development of the international preschool industry, by providing a communication platform for person who engaged in it. .
